Lectures are held at the three monthly SFAA events: the Mt Tam Star Party, the City Star Party and the General Meetings. Lectures subject to speaker availability. Topics are on or related to the subject of astronomy.

See the schedules below for lecture topics and times for the General Meeting lectures and City Star Party lectures. Mt Tamalpais Lectures are sponsored by Mt. Tamalpais State Park. Speakers and lecture schedules are arranged by the Mt. Tamalpais Interpretive Association (MTIA) Click here to see the schedule.

General Meeting Lecture Schedule
Lectures at SFAA General Meetings take place after the meeting is ajourned and are located in Randall Museum, the same location as the meeting. The meetings last approximately one hour, lectures vary in length from one half hour to an hour and a half.
