Join us for the MTIA’s Summer Astronomy Program which kicks off Saturday April 21st at sundown.
Physicist Dr Alex Filipenko from UC Berkley will kick off the season with his lecture about the Transit of Venus, one of history’s great periodic astronomical events which takes place in June this year.
After the lecture at the Mountain Amphitheater, the public will be welcome to view through telescopes set up by the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers.
