Once monthly, the SFAA hosts distinguished guest speakers who are leaders in the fields of astronomy, physics and related disciplines and they present to SFAA Members the latest developments from cutting-edge scientific programs.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are presenting our lecture online rather that at our usual lecture location at the Randall Museum Theater.

Topic: “Why Do Galaxies Die? How Silicon Valley’s “Spectral Revolution” will Solve a 100 Year Old Mystery”
Speaker: Kevin Bundy, Assistant Professor, UC Santa Cruz
